Experience

Built on Listening

Sara's experience spans counseling, mediation, negotiation, dispute resolution, corporate advisory work, and estate planning. Those diverse experiences give her a practical perspective on how legal decisions affect real people, families, and relationships. Today, she focuses her practice on helping clients create thoughtful estate plans that provide protection, clarity, and peace of mind.

"The best estate plans don't begin with documents. They begin with conversations about the people and values that matter most."

Philosophy

Legal guidance, in the form of counseling

Sara founded Evergreen Legacy Law because she believes estate planning is about more than preparing documents. It is about helping families make thoughtful decisions about the people they love, the values they want to pass on, and the future they hope to create.

Every estate plan begins with a conversation. Before discussing wills, trusts, or powers of attorney, Sara takes the time to understand each client's family, goals, concerns, and priorities. The legal documents are important, but they are most effective when they reflect a family's unique circumstances and the decisions that matter most to them.

At its best, estate planning provides more than legal protection, it provides clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

Personal

Beyond the Office

Like many of her clients, Sara understands what it means to balance competing responsibilities and competing priorities. She has raised three children who are now young adults or close to it, is part of a blended family, and has spent years building a career while staying connected to the people who matter most.

Those experiences have reinforced her belief that thoughtful planning is one of the most meaningful gifts we can give the people we love. They also shape how she works with clients, with patience, practicality, and an appreciation for the realities of family life.

When clients talk about caring for aging parents, supporting adult children, navigating family relationships, or planning for the future, Sara understands that these challenges are not just legal issues. They are deeply personal ones.

A conversation, first.

Every engagement begins with a relaxed conversation, about your family, your concerns, and what would feel like a meaningful plan to you. No pressure, no jargon.
